For nearly 27 years, the Lexus LX has stood tall and powerful as Toyota’s luxury brand’s flagship ultra-premium SUV. After a very long wait, the all-new 4th generation of the Lexus LX is here and is more luxurious and technology-packed than ever.
The new LX is built on the GA-F platform and shares numerous components with the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra. This is a good thing as it means the LX will be rugged and capable but in a very Lexus way. Powering the SUV will be a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 good for 409 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque.
“Everything about the new LX is new – from the foundation to the finish – and it is, without a doubt, the most advanced and most capable full-size luxury SUV we’ve ever offered,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus in Canada. “Our Canadian guests who are looking to make 2022 truly memorable can soon start designing their new LX online, with all models – including our first-ever LX F SPORT and VIP Executive editions – going on sale at Lexus Canada dealers across the country starting January 20.”
Pricing for the 2022 Lexus LX 600 Premium starts at $106,950 will include 20″ alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front-row seats, heated second-row seats, a power tilting/telescoping steering column, power back door with kick sensor, the Smart Key System with Push Button Start, an easy-close back door, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, wireless charging, and more. system for compatible smartphones, and heated exterior mirrors.
The 2022 Lexus LX 600 F SPORT 1, the first-ever and priced at $119,950, gets more aggressive styling and sportier handling. It features unique 22″ F SPORT aluminum alloy wheels, aluminum sport pedals, F SPORT trim package, aluminum interior trim, and semi-Aniline leather upholstery, a 25-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Audio system, heated and ventilated second-row seats, a torque-sensing limited-slip differential, front performance rods, and more.
