Mercedes-Benz will very soon reveal their most important internal combustion engine-powered car to the world. The codenamed W206 will be the 5th-generation C-Class (if we don’t count the 190E) will introduce a series of upgrades, both visual and technological. Aside from borrowing heavily from the new S-Class’ design, the new C-Class will set off on a more efficient path.
Mercedes-Benz is using “Upgrade your comfort zone” as a catchphrase for the new car. The idea behind the line has to do with the fact that the C-Class will be more efficient and technologically advanced than ever. It will be equipped with the second generation of MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience). This will make the passenger compartment even more digital and intelligent.
We’ve already reported that all future Mercedes-Benz C-Class models will be powered by a 4-cylinder engine. Benz has now confirmed that the C-Class will be the first for the brand to include an electrified powertrain for all trims.
