It’s a safe bet that GM dealers are very much looking forward to receiving their allotment of all-new 2023 Chevrolet Colorado midsize trucks. A massive leap forward in every conceivable metric, the new pickup looks very promising.
The new base price works out to a roughly $4,000 increase over the outgoing model and is justifiable in many ways. The first is the now standard-for-all trims turbocharged 2.7L inline-four cylinder engine. The new mill offers more torque and hp, thanks to three different states of tune, compared to the old base 2.5L four-pot,3.6L V6, and a turbo-diesel 2.8L four-cylinder.
The other massive improvements come from the cabin. The new dashboard, the screens, design, and materials have finally entered the 21st century. The new Colorado is also quite handsome even in the base guise, and it just gets better from there.
$30,695 will get you the base 2WD WT version. 4WD adds about $3,300. Through the trims, output boosts are optional for about $2,000. The very cool Trail Boos iteration starts at $38,495 while the more luxurious yet still quite capable Z71 goes from $41,395. The ultimate ZR2 is understandably the priciest trim and begins at $48,295.
