This will be the midsize sedan’s 11th generation.
It will feature Google Built-in for the first time.
The Honda Accord has been a best-selling midsize sedan for decades. With 10 generations now under its belt, Honda is preparing us for the reveal of an all-new 11th-generation car that should not disappoint according to the Japanese automaker.
The teaser images released don’t give away much about the car’s exterior design. We can see that it will have a wide stance and low hood line, similar to the current model. The rear’s combination LED taillamps stretch across the entire backside.
On the inside, Honda is debuting Google Built-in on the Accord for the first time. This will give drivers access to Google Maps, Assistant, and other apps through the car’s available largest-ever 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Honda is also promising an improved cabin with more space and better materials.
Under the hood, Honda is expected to offer a turbocharged four-cylinder engine as well as an improved more responsive hybrid powertrain. We’ll have to wait until next month for all the details, but Honda promises that the new Accord will make sedans exciting again.
