The current-generation HR-V offers one of the largest cabins in the segment.
The small SUV’s interior will be inspired by the new 11th generation Honda Civic.
Since its North American introduction for the 2016 model year, the Honda HR-V has proven to be a favorite for consumers looking for a generously large interior, reliability, and efficiency.
Honda has just shared a series of images and a brief video that depicts a more premium and high-tech cabin compared to the previous HR-V. As the new third-generation HR-V will be based on the same platform that underpins the new 11th generation Civic, the latter will serve as inspiration for the new dashboard and user interface.
A possibly more important fact is that the new HR-V will offer more interior flexibility. The rear seating area will be larger to better accommodate occupants. As well, the trunk will be substantially longer and, beneath to floor, will be an expansive storage area.
Honda promises a fun driving experience on top of everything. Based on our experiences with the new Civic, we’re convinced it will be pleasant.
The 2023 Honda HR-V’s full reveal happens soon.
