Mercedes-Benz is rolling into the large luxury electric SUV segment with its all-new all-electric EQS SUV. This SUV’s only shortcoming might only be its less-than-inspired name as the level of included features and its powertrain are nothing short of impressive. And, it will be priced from $104,400 in the US.

For that price, the EQS 450+ SUV will include a 12.8″ OLED multimedia touchscreen portrait display with the latest generation of MBUX which now offers an intuitive new zero-layer concept keeping key applications at the top level of the screen to limit navigating through submenus and limiting driver distractions. The digital instrument cluster will display information thanks to the off-road mode and will show steering angle, suspension height, elevation, geo coordinates, power level, and more.

The EQS SUV will feature an output of 536 horsepower and deliver impressive estimated EPA range figures. The EQS 450+ will offer 305 miles and the EQS 450 4MATIC and EQS 580 4MATIC, up to 285 miles of range. EQS SUV customers will get a complimentary two years of Mercedes me Charge hassle-free charging. As well, in collaboration with Electrify America, Mercedes-Benz USA provides EQS SUV drivers with an unlimited number of 30– minute DC Fast Charging charging sessions throughout the entire Electrify America network at no additional cost for the first 2 years.
