Lexus is gearing up for the big reveal of its latest model, the all-new 2024 LBX, on June 5th. As anticipation builds, car enthusiasts are speculating that the new vehicle could potentially become the spiritual successor to the popular CT200h.
The forthcoming LBX is expected to be based on the Toyota GA-B platform, which underpins a range of small Toyota vehicles including the Yaris and Yaris Cross. In terms of size, the LBX is likely to position itself below the UX in the Lexus lineup. This compact footprint makes it a strong candidate to follow in the footsteps of the CT200h.

A teaser image released by Lexus offers a glimpse of what to expect from the LBX’s design. The image showcases a full-width LED rear taillight signature and front fascia treatment. However, details beyond this remain scarce.
Despite the interest surrounding the LBX, it is currently doubtful that the model will be offered for sale in North America. This decision is anything but shocking as small, aka smart, vehicles are not appreciated on our shores. The recently-updated-for-2024 Lexus UX supports this as sales are marginal at best, especially when compared to the NX.
