Aston Martin Teased the DBS 770 Ultimate, a limited Edition Send Off

Aston Martin teased a limited edition DBS that will act as a send-off for this model introduced in 2018.

  • The Aston Martin DBS will be discontinued at the end of the year.

  • The 770 Ultimate will have 759 horsepower and it will be limited to 499 units.

  • A video shows a few glimpses of this send-off for the DBS.

Many automakers like to commemorate the end of production of their most special models with a limited edition that features styling and mechanical tweaks.

This is the case with Aston Martin, which is about to bid farewell to the DBS that was introduced in 2018.

Judging by the teaser video and the short text that accompanies the press release, the British car maker intends for this model to be quite memorable.

Few details are known yet, but the company confirmed the DBS 770 Ultimate will have 759 horsepower (or 770 PS), which is 44 more than are produced by the “regular” model’s 5.2L twin-turbocharged V-12 engine.

This increase in power could be accompanied by some modifications to the suspension and steering systems since Aston Martin claims this model has been “re-engineered” and that it features a “sharper dynamic focus”.

Also seen briefly in the video are distinctive wheels with a sort of Honeycomb pattern that seem to be exclusive to this model.

Obviously, this will be a limited edition, with only 499 units to be distributed to well-off buyers around the world.

More details should be known soon since Aston Martin says this model will be “uncaged” in early 2023.
