The concepts are sphere-themed.
One is the Sky Sphere which shares its proportions with the Artemis concept.
The Audi concepts are called Sky Sphere, Grand Sphere, and Urban Sphere. The names alone hint at what these vehicles were designed to do, or where they are intended to be driven.
Marc Lichte, Head of Design AUDI AG, and Henrik Wenders, Senior Vice President Audi Brand, both shared a brief video on LinkedIn. In it, they partially present these three vehicles. According to them, they’ve already designed the future.
The Sky Sphere, the one that resembles the Artemis, is a driver’s car that is also autonomous. This one looks to be a proper GT based on its proportions. The Grand Sphere has a similar profile to the Landjet and Aicon concepts. As Lichte puts it, it is all about grand appearance, immersive and personal, a high-class experience for all the senses. This, in our opinion, is the premium luxury sedan of the three. The Urban Sphere is a private space in an urban environment. It’s digital, social, involving, and perfectly centered around the passenger. This will likely be Audi’s version of a future SUV.
Audi describes the three “Spheres” as vehicles that recognize you, listen, and read wishes in your eyes. They know your preferences, know what you love, and where to find it.
