Audi Unveils Refreshed 2024 Q8 and SQ8 Models

Supported by a 48-volt mild-hybrid-assist system, the engine provides enhanced braking efficiency, smoother start-stop functionality, and the ability to coast without the engine for up to 40 seconds.

The SQ8 model continues to impress with its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, boasting a formidable 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the SQ8 adds a torque-vectoring rear differential, active anti-roll bars, air springs, and adaptive dampers. Rear-wheel steering is standard on the SQ8, enhancing its agility.

The 2024 Q8 and SQ8 models are anticipated to arrive in the United States and Canada during the winter season. While detailed pricing and specifications are forthcoming, given the nature of the updates, conservative price adjustments are expected. The Q8 model is projected to start at approximately $75,000, with the SQ8 likely to begin in the high-$90,000 range.
