Bentley extends its all-electric target from 2030 to 2035, enhancing sustainability initiatives.
First Luxury Urban SUV, a BEV, to launch in 2026, with annual electrified model introductions.
Significant upgrades planned for Crewe’s manufacturing site to support next-gen electric models.
Bentley Motors has unveiled Beyond100+, an extended strategic plan outlining the luxury brand’s goals beyond 2030 to reach full electrification by 2035. This announcement confirms Bentley’s ambitions to offer a lineup composed entirely of fully electric vehicles within the next decade. Bentley will reveal its first Battery-Electric Vehicle (BEV) in 2026 as part of this new roadmap. This model aims to establish an entirely new segment as the world’s first true luxury urban SUV, much like the recently teased Mercedes-AMG electric SUV…

Designed, developed, and manufactured at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, this SUV will signal the start of an annual release of new electrified models, either PHEV or BEV, every year until the target of 2035.
In line with the Beyond100+ strategy, Bentley has committed to extending the lifecycle of its Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) models. Hybrid variants of the Continental GT coupe, Convertible, and Flying Spur will remain available through 2035, each powered by an advanced V8 hybrid following Bentley’s recent decision to discontinue its W12 engine after more than two decades.

Bentley’s Beyond100+ plan also includes substantial investment in its Crewe manufacturing facilities, known as the ‘Dream Factory,’ to adapt for an all-electric future. Already certified as a carbon-neutral site, Crewe is undergoing further enhancements to support BEV production, adding a new state-of-the-art Design Centre, Paint Shop, and assembly line. This upgrade is the largest self-funded investment in Bentley’s 105-year history.
Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, described Beyond100+ as “a guiding light” that aligns with economic, market, and legislative shifts to achieve a decarbonized future. Walliser reiterated Bentley’s dedication to producing fully electric cars by 2035 and continuing Bentley’s legacy as a British luxury brand.
