New bespoke detailing for ultra-luxurious Bentley
712-stitches for each seat diamond just one of the flagship touches
Bentley has revealed its latest ultraluxury sedan. The Flying Spur Mulliner will be the top of the range, taking its place as the company’s new flagship. This third in the Mulliner lineup will offer a wide range of bespoke features inside and out to make it more luxurious and more exclusive.
Starting on the outside, two-tone 22-inch wheels are Mulliner-specific and come with self-levelling center caps to make sure the B is always pointed correctly. A double-diamond mesh for the grille and lower air intakes helps set this one apart, as do the silver mirror caps and jewelled fuel filler cap. No, the mirror covers are not actual silver, sadly.
Deep pile mats greet the owner when they open the doors to one of the eight custom three-tone interior combinations. 3D leather finishes on the door panels make the car stand out, as does the diamond on diamond quilting on the seats. That pattern features 712 individual stitches for each diamond and took 18 months to develop.
A new milled finish is applied to the consoles both front and rear, and there are power-folding rear tables, but the highlight is the brushed silver Mulliner clock. The LED cluster gets new Mulliner graphics, and there is a panoramic roof.
Even the keys are special, leather-bound and arriving in a handcrafted presentation box that matches the three-colour cabin configuration. The Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner will be offered with the V8 and W12 engine options as well as the new plug-in hybrid.
