Canada is first on the list outside the US to get the Model Y SUV.
First deliveries occurred in BC on Tuesday, and there are many more to come.
Musk knows how important this vehicle is for his company.
Remember when you noticed the first Tesla Model 3 on the road? And within what seemed like days, they were everywhere? That is, in our opinion, barely an indicator of what will happen once Mush gets his factory rolling at full steam and begins delivering Model Y SUVs everywhere.
Even though things aren’t going great for Elon following the hurried re-opening of his Fremont, California plant, Tesla is still upping its output of compact Model Y SUVs and have commenced delivering units to customers in Canada. We, The North, happen to be first on the list of territories outside of the US that will see the Model Y on the road.
Lucky customers in Vancouver, BC, have already taken delivery of their new Deep Blue Metallic Model Y. The news was shared on the bcteslaowners Instagram account and surely has made thousands of Canadians jealous. Fear not however as they are coming. Before long, they will be on nearly every urban street corner, one vehicle over from a Model 3.
Deliveries for other international markets in Europe and Asia are a little farther off. They will have to wait until early to mid-2021.
