Bronco configuration tool is better late than never
Now you’ll be able to spec out yours against the Jeep Wrangler
If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands who have their deposits in for a new Ford Bronco or are one of the millions who would like nothing more than to play configuration top trumps on the new SUV, we’ve got some good news. The Ford Bronco Build and Price configurator tool is set to be live next month.
We’ve already seen some of the trim levels for the new Bronco, with Ford giving them fun names like Big Bend, Badlands, and Wildtrak, but we haven’t been able to make them look the way we want or find out how much each one will be.
Bronco build and price will be live by September at the latest. Ordering takes place in December. My bad If that came off as confusing. Get ready to build your Broncos! pic.twitter.com/WN5GmORPwz

Ford North America communications boss Mike Levine posted to Twitter very late last night (via Motor1) when the Build and Price should go live. It’ll be September at the latest, at least for U.S. customers. Canadian customers are already used to automaker configurators lagging their southern counterparts by weeks or months. We’re not sure if it’s the translation that takes the extra time or the cold.
Once the site’s active, reservation holders will get a few months to make sure they’ve got their Bronco exactly the way they’d like it. Because orders will start in December, Levine said.
As far as when production will actually start and you can start to see the Bronco on the road? Levine’s reply was a little more vague.

Oh, and if you were hoping for the Sasquatch off-road pack with the seven-speed stick, the answer is “we’re listening.” So maybe make some noise if you’re one of the people looking for that combo.
