Bugatti Chiron R Might Bridge The Gap Between The Sport And Super Sport 300+

The Bugatti Chiron R could be the track-focused version of the most power Bugatti ever built.

  • Special editions are a Bugatti and there are more to come.
  • The Bugatti Chiron R started out an image shared on Bugatti’s Instagram account.
  • This Chiron R might be tuned for handling over all-out speed.
  • It will be revealed at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show.

We can’t help but create a link within the Volkswagen Auto Group where VW itself uses “R” to highlight performance and handling version of its products and this Bugatti Chiron R. The latter started life as nothing more than an image of Bugattis Instagram page.

The rumours circulating around this car come from a few sources including TheSuperCarBlog.com which apparently has more information on the car. The images and their sources reveal that the car might have a fixed spoiler, extra aerodynamics, a retuned suspension and different wheels. This leads all to believe that this Chiron could be tuned for carving up roads rather than launching itself into orbit at wild speeds.

It’s unknown if the Bugatti Chiron R will be powered by the same 1,500-horsepower 8.0-litre W16 engine but odds are in favour of it.

We’ll know more in a few weeks starting March 3rd, the Geneva Motor Show’s first press day.
