A Bugatti Divo Speedster to be unveiled in Geneva?

Rumours are rife about the unveiling of a 1-of-1 Bugatti Divo Speedster at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The Bugatti Divo has not yet celebrated its one year that a new version is about to show its face if we rely on the rumours currently circulating on the web. We are talking here about a Bugatti Divo Speedster.

So far, very few details are known about this unique model. A very popular car collector on Instagram has spawned this rumour last week in one of his publications.

He mentioned that the 110-year-old Chiron Sport Bugatti and the Divo will be on the floor of Geneva “[…] alongside the top secret 16 million euro Bugatti one-off that was made exclusively for Dr Piech that will be unveiled at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. »

He talks about Dr. Ferdinand Piëch, the former president of the Volkswagen Group and grandson of Ferdinand Porsche.

Unveiled last August at Pebble Beach, the Divo is 77 lbs lighter than the Chiron on which it is based. Its design is not the only thing that leaves you breathless, its numbers too. Powered by an 8.0L W16 quad-turbo, the Bugatti Divo produces a staggering 1,479 hp, has a top speed limited to 380 km/h and costs $ 7.5 million (€ 5 million).

Even before its unveiling, the 40 copies that will be produced, had already found takers.

In short, it’s in Geneva, in a couple of weeks, that we will be told if this rumour is true or not. For now, it still allows 3D illustrators to imagine what a Bugatti Divo Speedster might look like.

Rain Prisk is one of them, he published on his Facebook page this 3D rendering that you can admire below.
