- Bugatti reached the second half of the Chiron’s production;

The first Bugatti Chiron was delivered to its owner three years ago and today, the team over at Molsheim celebrates another milestone. Indeed, the production of the Chiron has now reached its second half. To mark the occasion, the 250th Bugatti Chiron built will be commemorated as a special edition, the Chiron Sport “Edition Noire Sportive”.
“After a year full of records, this 250th Chiron represents the cornerstone for another year of extraordinary accomplishments,” commented Bugatti’s president, Stephan Winkelmann. “Every single Chiron has proven that we are rightfully standing at the pinnacle of automotive craftsmanship.”
With a total production run of 500, the Chiron is almost sold out revealed Bugatti. Out of the 250 remaining Chirons left, more than 150 are already paid for while fewer than 100 units are still available for sale.
For the curious and car aficionados who want to see a piece of Bugatti’s history, the Bugatti Chiron Sport “Edition Noire Sportive” will be the company’s centrepiece at the Geneva International Motor Show next month.
The Bugatti Chiron is powered by the iconic 8.0-litre 16-cylinder engine which develops up to 1,600 hp depending on the model.
“Every Chiron that has left our Atelier in the past three years is a technological masterpiece. This also applies to the 250th specimen. Reaching this mark in such a short amount of time is an amazing accomplishment that fills me with pride. I am looking forward to the second half of the production cycle”, added Winkelmann.
