C8 Chevrolet Corvette Drag Race Goes Wrong

The race, against a late-model Audi SQ5, starts off as all drag races do, with the lights going green. It becomes quickly evident that the Corvette is struggling for grip. The driver decides to hold out, keeps pressure on the throttle, the tires disagree, and the front end meets the concrete retainer wall.

The video, shared by gmauthority.com, shows the Vette bounce off the wall and head towards the wall on the other side of the Lebanon Valley Dragway track in New York.
