Cadillac Elevated Velocity: The Future of Electric High-Performance Off Roading and Luxury

The Cadillac Elevated Velocity stands as a vision of Cadillac’s electric future: fusing zero-emission V-Series performance, adaptive driving intelligence, and immersive in-cabin technology to deliver a new era of high-performance luxury mobility.

  • The Elevated Velocity will make its debut at The Quail

  • This premium “dune buggy” redefines the boundaries of electrification and autonomy

  • Several elements from the concept will make it to production

Cadillac is redefining the electric performance SUV segment with Elevated Velocity, a fully electric, high-performance crossover concept that blends cutting-edge technology with the brand’s celebrated V-Series heritage. Designed as a 2+2 ultra-luxury EV, it promises thrilling capability on the road, commanding presence off it, and a showcase of innovations that signal Cadillac’s design and engineering future.

Electrified V-Series Performance

Following the launch of the LYRIQ-V and OPTIQ-V, Cadillac pushes the envelope with Elevated Velocity, a concept that fuses peak EV power, advanced drive modes, and luxury craftsmanship. Its elevated stance on 24-inch wheels gives it the freedom to tackle rugged terrain without sacrificing on-road refinement.

The heart of its performance lies in driver-selectable electric drive modes:

  • e-Velocity Mode delivers heart-pounding acceleration and precision control for intense road driving.
  • Terra Mode enhances off-road agility with adaptive air suspension.
  • Sand Vision improves visibility in low-contrast, dust-filled conditions using EV-optimized sensor tech.
  • Elements Defy keeps the exterior pristine by actively repelling dust and debris via anti-static vibration.

Technology that Transforms the Drive

Elevated Velocity’s innovation goes beyond propulsion, it creates an immersive, personalized driving environment with three transformative in-cabin experience modes:

  • Welcome Mode greets occupants with illuminated floors, seats, dashboard, doors, and steering wheel. Dramatic gull-wing doors open upward, accompanied by animated displays inspired by shifting desert sands.
  • Elevate Mode activates autonomous driving, transforming the cabin into a recovery space. Retracting pedals and steering wheel free up space, infrared seat lighting aids recovery, and synchronized lighting patterns guide breathing for relaxation.
  • Velocity Mode focuses the driver with cool white interior lighting, reduced distractions, and a performance display showing speed, range, battery health, and AR navigation.

Aerodynamic Efficiency Meets Sculptural Form

Borrowing proportion cues from the CELESTIQ and LYRIQ, Elevated Velocity’s Vapor Blue finish with flinty grey undertones enhances aerodynamic efficiency while making a bold visual statement. The design integrates blue-tinted glass, precision-crafted wheels in flax fiber and black crystal acrylic, and reimagined Cadillac lighting choreography for a futuristic EV signature.

Front lighting features elegantly fluted translucent elements, while vertical rear lights incorporate a “light tunnel” effect technological artistry in motion.

Cabin Innovation and EV-Centric Well-Being

Inside, Elevated Velocity uses electrification to enhance comfort and occupant health. Materials like Morello Red Nappa leather, garnet bouclé fabric, tinted acrylic, and brushed metal create a space that’s both luxurious and performance-focused.

Key well-being technologies include:

  • Advanced air filtration to remove fine particles and desert dust.
  • Extreme climate control to manage rapid temperature and altitude shifts.
  • Air purification with fragrance diffusion for continuous freshness.
  • Red light therapy for muscle recovery after high-energy pursuits.

Storage solutions integrate seamlessly, from a secure vault for valuables to a cargo area designed for upscale adventure gear, highlighted by a bespoke polo set matching the EV’s exterior color.

Cadillac Elevated Velocity will debut on August 15, 2025, at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California.
