Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, BMW, Genesis, and Audi best be watching what’s going on here. Cadillac has just introduced the 2026 OPTIQ-V, the latest addition to its V-Series portfolio, featuring an all-electric powertrain and performance-focused technologies. The crossover will be the first General Motors vehicle to feature an integrated North American Charging Standard (NACS) port.

The OPTIQ-V uses a dual-motor all-wheel drive system to deliver an estimated 519 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. In Velocity Max mode, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in an estimated 3.5 seconds. It includes an 85-kWh battery pack, providing an estimated range of up to 443 km on a full charge.
Production is scheduled to begin in fall 2025, with initial availability in Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Middle East, and Israel.

Performance systems include Launch Control and a customizable V-Mode, which offers quick access to settings such as Competitive Mode and a unique sound profile. These features are designed to change traction and agility during high-demand driving.
The OPTIQ-V also includes standard Brembo performance front brake callipers, available in blue or red with V-Series badging, and Super Cruise.

The vehicle features a sharper exterior, with 21-inch satin graphite alloy wheels, a gloss black splitter, V-pattern grille, and available carbon fibre aerodynamic elements. Two new exterior colours—Magnus Metal Frost and Deep Ocean Tintcoat—are exclusive to the model.
Interior options include two-tone palettes with Santorini Blue accents, laser-etched V-Series badges, and performance seat detailing. The cabin incorporates carbon fibre trim and blue-accented stitching throughout.
A 33-inch-diagonal LED display integrates the Drive Mode app and is paired with a standard 19-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos compatibility. The vehicle also includes Google built-in.
Canadian pricing will be announced closer to market launch.
