15 cars in verde Montreal, only for us
Speciale on display at Montreal F1 GP
Oh Canada, say hello to a special edition Alfa Romeo Giulia that’s just for us, eh! The 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia Speciale is limited to just 15, and all of those will be sold here.
Alfa calls it a celebration of its connection with the city of Montreal. You might remember the Alfa Romeo Montreal sports car that made its debut at Expo ’67 and then went on sale from 1970 through 1977.
This one’s being unveiled along with the Canadian Grand Prix, also in Montreal, and will be offered exclusively in a verde Montreal tri-coat paint. The bold green was previously only offered on Quadrifoglio models but looks great on this Speciale as well.
The 2022 Giulia Speciale is based on the Veloce AWD trim with its 2.0L turbo four making 280 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque. The Speciale gets handling bits from the Quadrifoglio, though, including Alfa Adaptive Suspension as standard. It will also wear carbon fibre sills, mirror caps, and grille, along with yellow callipers hiding in the 19-inch alloys.
Alfa gives the dash red stitching (we really were hoping for green here too), and carbon fibre accents on the dash, doors, and console that look almost the same as the QF but are actually different and exclusive to the Speciale.
Pricing for the Giulia Speciale starts at $71,995 before destination. It will be on display at Formula Peel in Montreal leading up to the GP, and the cars will start to arrive at Alfa stores later this month.
