Changan Mazda To Make Rotary Announcement Tomorrow

A poster for a Changan Mazda event talking about a big rotary announcement was published on the brand’s Weibo account.

Changan Mazda, a 50:50 joint venture between Changan Automobile and Mazda, made a post on their official Weibo account on September 20th about an upcoming rotary announcement.

The poster shared with the post shows a Mazda Cosmo Sport, part of a rotary engine and a big ‘6’ in the background. An inscription at the top says “Pays tribute to the dream” just underneath the Cosmo.

Also mentioned on the poster is that the event will take place in 6 days, therefore on September 26th, which is tomorrow.

American publication Jalopnik, which spotted this in the first place, translated the rest of the poster.

The magic of dreams turns circles” is the first line, followed by “Love you to the night and day”. Lastly, they think the last sentence goes something like “after six days, see… the next generation”.

That being said, we should learn everything by tomorrow, so stay tuned, we will update you as soon as we know more.

Meanwhile, in Japan, Mazda announced the world premiere of its first mass-production battery electric vehicle at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, next month.
