The Chevy Bolt EUV is the SUV version of the Bolt.
It will be taller, longer, and more spacious.
Expected to launch in the summer of 2021.
Very much like the Tesla Model Y to the Model 3, the Bolt EUV steps up on utility, interior space and adds the almighty higher driving position over the Bolt 5-door hatchback. GM has huge upcoming EV plans but before they get underway, the Chevrolet Bolt EUV, which stands for Electric Utility Vehicle, will set the stage.
The spy shared on the Insideevs show what is without a doubt a taller vehicle than the Bolt. They also demonstrate the Bolt EUV’s overall lengthier body, said to be up to 5 inches longer than the Bolt. Otherwise, it is difficult to make out the front and rear fascias. The windows, or greenhouse, does show a link to the Bolt as the beltline rises sharply as it flows to the rear. As we approach its summer 2021 launch date, we’re sure to see more of it.
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV will be built at the Orion Assembly Plant in Michigan, alongside the current Bolt and Sonic (no longer sold in Canada.)
