Chrysler Marks 100th Anniversary With Employee Tribute and Future Model Announcements

It’s been a decade since Chrysler’s unveiled plans for future vehicle launches.

  • Chrysler celebrates 100 years with staff tribute and a dedicated Walter P. Chrysler time capsule.

  • New crossover and Halcyon-inspired product confirmed, joining updated Pacifica due in 2026.

  • Anniversary includes major car shows, video series, and exclusive 100th anniversary merchandise.

Chrysler marked its centennial on Friday, June 6, 2025, with a company-wide celebration recognizing over 100 years of automotive production and innovation. More than 1,500 Stellantis employees gathered for a commemorative group photo at the Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, as part of the milestone event.

A centrepiece of the gathering was the dedication of a time capsule designed as a replica of Walter P. Chrysler’s original machinist toolbox. The capsule contains historic Chrysler vehicle sketches, badges, brochures, merchandise, and a letter from Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell addressed to future employees and customers.

The brand also announced a series of activities planned for summer 2025, including displays at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Pennsylvania and the annual Woodward Cruise in Metro Detroit.

Chrysler wants a production version of the Halcyon Concept

Most importantly, looking forward, Chrysler has confirmed plans for three upcoming vehicles. A refreshed Chrysler Pacifica is scheduled for release in 2026, followed by a new crossover. A third vehicle, drawing inspiration from the Halcyon concept, is also in development, potentially pointing to the brand’s electrified future under Stellantis.

To support the anniversary, Chrysler is also launching a Century of Innovation sales event and an exclusive line of 100th anniversary merchandise, now available online.

The company’s history includes the invention of the minivan, the launch of the HEMI V8 engine, and contributions to industrial growth as one of Detroit’s original Big Three automakers.
