Chrysler used Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge in Pontiac, Michigan, on Aug. 8 to display two Pacifica concepts exploring different approaches to minivan customization. Yes, customizing minivans is cool.

The first stays relatively close to a factory specification. Chrysler started with a Diamond Black 2027 Pacifica Limited AWD equipped with the S Appearance Package, then added Mopar-designed matte stripes, black brake callipers and 21-inch Geode wheels fitted with 245/45R21 Pirelli PZero summer tires.
A 2.5-cm ride height reduction gives the van a lower, meaner stance. Red seat belts, previously introduced on the U.S.-exclusive 2027 Pacifica America250 edition, add another interior distinction. The vehicle retains Pacifica’s seven- or eight-passenger configuration and available Stow ‘n Go seating functionality.

The second concept moves further from production specification through a collaboration with VANkulture, a brave, bold and brilliant community focused on customized minivans. Its modifications include a VIS Racing aero package with a front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser and integrated decklid spoiler.
VANkulture also fitted the Pacifica with a satin paint-protection film wrap, black exterior accents, and smoked headlight film. Superb twenty-inch Vossen wheels are wrapped in 275/40R20 Kenda tires, while Megan Racing 32-way adjustable coilovers and custom Swift Springs lower the van by a solid 6.3 cm, or 2.5 inches.

The chassis changes also include Rotora brakes with eight-piston front callipers and 15.4-inch rotors. Four-piston rear callipers crush down on 14-inch rotors. A MagnaFlow exhaust completes the mechanical modifications, likely making the old 3.6L V6 sound better than it ever has.
Chrysler shares that the projects reflect growing interest in giving minivans a more individualized appearance, as one-third of Pacifica customers select the S Appearance Package. The reality is that “van culture” remains limited, though deserves to grow. The automaker also states that Gen Z and Millennial buyers are contributing to minivan-segment growth in Canada and the United States, so there’s hope.
As a reminder, Chrysler has refreshed the 2027 Pacifica lineup with price reductions reaching $7,200, depending on the model.
