Performance and Powertrain

Leading the charge is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, boasting 670 horsepower and the capability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in an estimated 3.3 seconds. This positions it as the quickest and most powerful muscle car in its class, according to Dodge. Accompanying the Scat Pack is the 496-horsepower 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, expanding Dodge’s electric vehicle offerings.

The vehicles feature an all-wheel-drive system standard across the lineup, supported by a 400V electric propulsion system that mimics the performance characteristics of a supercharged V8 engine without emissions. This system comprises high-voltage battery packs and dual electric drive modules (EDMs) that enable instantaneous torque delivery.

Design and Innovation

The design of the Dodge Charger incorporates cutting-edge features, including the patent-pending front R-Wing for enhanced aerodynamics and a unique aesthetic. The interior design is centered around the driver, with immersive features such as 64-colour Attitude Adjustment interior lighting and the revolutionary Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, which produces an intense sound comparable to that of the legendary Hellcat engines.

Performance enhancements include the PowerShot feature, providing an additional 40 horsepower on demand, and the largest brake package ever offered on a Dodge vehicle, ensuring superior stopping power. The vehicle also boasts the largest tire package to date, with 20-inch wheels and Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar tires.

In addition to the electric models, Dodge announced the future inclusion of internal combustion engine options within the Charger lineup. These include the 550-horsepower Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O. and the 420-horsepower Charger SIXPACK S.O., powered by the 3.0L Twin Turbo I6 Hurricane engine.
