Electrify Canada Will Offer Complimentary Electric Vehicle Charging on April 22nd

This Friday, Earth Day, take an EV road trip on Electrify Canada

  • The program starts on April 22 at 12:01 a.m. until April 23 at 3:00 a.m. EDT.

  • Electrify Canada is also offering rebates on its Level 2 Home Charger.

Electric Vehicle charging networks are growing across the country. While they are still far from matching the number of petrol stations, you’ll never see an oil company offer free gasoline to everyone for a day. Electrify Canada will give away free electrons to all EV drivers for 27 hours.

From this Friday, April 22 at 12:01 a.m., until April 23 at 3:00 a.m. EDT, Electrify Canada will charge up your EV without charging you a cent. If you live and drive in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, you’ll have access to 30 stations equipped with chargers capable of delivering speeds up to 150kW and 350kW.

“Driving an electric vehicle is something that individuals can do every day to live more sustainably,” says Robert Barrosa, senior director of sales, business development & marketing at Electrify Canada. “Electrify Canada is happy to provide a little thank you to those who have already made the commitment to drive electric and help advance the goal of a more sustainable future.”

As well, if you’re in the market for an at-home charger, Electrify Canada has lowered the pricing of its HomeStation Level-2 home charger by $65. This deal lasts from April 18 to 30, 2022.
