The most efficient version is the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo at 215 miles.
Although relatively low, it is known that the Taycan’s actual range exceeds the EPA’s numbers.
The only “flaw”, if we could call it that, with the much-adulated Porsche Taycan was its range ratings. They’ve so far been proven to be extremely conservative as most who’ve driven, tested, and reviewed the car have noted that the car’s actual real-world range was far greater than indicated. As for the new Taycan Cross Turismo, the numbers are slightly less conservative.
For 2021, Porsche has increased the regular Taycan’s range figures by 10% simply by fitting the car with more efficient wheels. Even so, the sleek electric car’s numbers are still relatively low. The base Taycan’s range, with RWD and the Performance Battery Plus, is rated at “only” 225 miles compared to the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo’s 215 miles. A better comparison is the Taycan 4S with Performance Battery Plus vs. the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo: 227 miles vs. 215 miles.
All Cross Turismo versions (for the moment at least) are fitted as standard with the 93.4kWh Performance Battery Plus meaning that, like the Taycan with the same battery, its actual range will be far greater. As reported by electrek, here are the EPA estimates for both the Cross Turismo and 2021 Taycan:
Taycan 4 Cross Turismo: 215 miles
Taycan 4S Cross Turismo: 215 miles
Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo: 204 miles
Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo: 202 miles
