Eye-Candy Alert: 1999 Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe Ready to Rock the Broad Arrow Auction

  • Unique 1999 Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe heading to Broad Arrow’s 75th Anniversary Auction.

  • The Porsche offers a blend of heritage and exclusivity, capturing both collector and enthusiast interest.

Set to command the spotlight at the Broad Arrow 75th Anniversary Porsche Auction on June 10, 2023, the 1999 Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe, a unique Sonderwunsch ‘Factory One-Off’, promises a special blend of heritage and exclusivity.

As the first of its kind in the ‘Classic Series’, the Club Coupe’s design marries inspiration from the 2010 911 Sport Classic and the 2022 911 Sport Classic. This vision was brought to life by Style Porsche Director of Special Projects, Grant Larson, and the Porsche Club of America (PCA).

The car showcases a distinctive Sport Grey Metallic paint job, accented by dual stripes in Sport Grey Light and thin border stripes in PCA Club Blau. Notably, the handmade ducktail spoiler echoes the iconic 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7, while a double-bubble roof pays homage to the super sports car Carrera GT. The 18-inch Fuchs wheels bear a PCA Club Blau pinstripe and Porsche logo, and it’s propelled by a 381-horsepower, water-cooled flat-six engine from the 996.2-generation 911 GT3, mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Inside, the Club Coupe features black and slate grey leather upholstery showcasing a unique Pepita pattern exclusive to this model, with PCA Club Blau accents throughout the interior. Further enhancing the package, a tailor-made car cover, a key painted in the vehicle colour with a leather pouch, and a set of bags – including a tool bag, a first-aid kit bag, and a touring bag – made of woven leather in the Pepita pattern accompany the vehicle.

Post-restoration at the Stuttgart-based Porsche Classic workshop, the Club Coupe returned stateside in 2022 and graced several PCA events. Now, with a guide price of $292,865 and no reserve, this one-of-a-kind Porsche masterpiece offers a rare ownership opportunity for discerning collectors and Porsche enthusiasts alike.
