F1 Driver Max Verstappen’s Aston Up for Sale

Ex company car, one owner, low miles, high speed

  • Just 2,000 km on F1-winner’s DBS

  • Dutch dealer brings in star-power cars

Want to drive F1-racer Max Verstappen’s car? You’d better believe it. Now here’s your chance to snag his ex-company car. Though it’s not one of his Red Bulls, it’s something almost as exciting.

When you drive for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, your company car is, well, an Aston Martin. In his case a DBS Superleggera that Max is said to have had at his beck and call in Monaco. Now it’s for sale at a dealership in the north of Holland.

“When this DBS Superleggera was offered to the dealer network by the manufacturer, I checked the chassis number and found that it was Max Verstappen’s car, Eduard Severijn, Sales Manager of Aston Martin Hilversum told Autorai. “It goes without saying that we didn’t hesitate for a second to take over this car.”

The 725 hp V12-powered beast can hit 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds on the way to 340 km/h flat out, but we expect that to be positively boring compared with Max’s F1 car. As far as the price, they didn’t say what the 2,000 km car is listed for, but expect a massive figure. The same dealer has a 6,800 km car on the lot for 312,500 euros (CAD 486,000) and that one doesn’t have nearly the same pedigree, though we’re sure it was owned by someone at least moderately important, it wasn’t an F1 race winner.

Also at the same showroom are a Vanquish S that belonged to Denzel Washington, and the dealer says that it recently sold the Aston of “a well-known Wimbledon winner.”

We always have customers who are looking for something special. Certainly for an opportunity like this. I expect this car to be sold within a few days” said Severijn.
