FCA And LEGO Introduce The Technic Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

The new LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler Rubicon includes an articulating suspension

  • It goes on sale on January 1st, 2021,

  • It will be priced from $49,99.

  • There are 665 pieces to the model.

It’s almost hard to believe that this is the first-ever Jeep product to be offered by LEGO. Even so, it seems as though it was worth the wait. Not only is this a Wrangler, it’s a Rubicon with oversized tires and a roof-mounted light bar.

LEGO has introduced an incredible collection of model builds from manufacturers such as Volkswagen, MINI, Ferrari, and others over the years. Now, they add the iconic Jeep Wrangler as a 665-piece model which features a button-operated front steering system and serious axle-articulation from the suspension. The unit is painted yellow-and-black and includes huge bogger tires.

“Ask any Jeep Wrangler owner and they’ll tell you that their vehicle is just a bigger version of this new LEGO set,” said Mark Allen, Head of Jeep Design. “The design of the Jeep Wrangler allows them to take it apart, top off, doors off, reconfigure it, add new pieces from our Mopar team, and then put it back together again. This LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler should bring a new level of joy to our Jeep enthusiasts and help inspire future designers to the brand.”

The new LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler set will hit store shelves on January 1st, 2021, and be priced at $49.99 (49.99€ / £44.99).
