Large accessory catalogue starting to fill out
Photos show bits ranging from armour to tube doors to stickers
Ford said it was planning to have Jeep-like levels of factory accessory support for the Bronco when it hit dealers, and though we’ve already gotten a look at the pricing structure for many of them, we haven’t yet seen the accessories themselves. Until now, thanks to another online leak from Ford.
It starts, as discovered by Bronco6g, with a massive range of fender flare options ranging from knife-like options in steel with base and “aggressive” choices, with removable models from Bushwacker. There are more traditional non-removable flares for the Ford Bronco that are paintable bolt-on style, and other large wheel arch mouldings.
A stick-on hood scoop will be available, along with door mouldings and stick-on flares from Air Design. Fully retractable tops will be on the parts list from Bestop and the four-door version looks a little bit unusual but should be impressively functional. Twill and vinyl offerings are on the list. Soft tops including mesh and bimini-style roofs are also available, letting you pick how much hardtop you want to keep.
Want more underbody protection? A skid plate is on the menu, along with factory rock rails, and trail armour front and rear protects against tagging a tree or rock off-road.
We won’t cover every single one, because this list is long, but floor mats, rear storage enclosures, retro spare tire covers, even soundbars, storage bags, and a Bronco R-livery cover are available, plus air compressors, tube doors, pod lights, and probably more oddball accessories than you can even imagine.
Of course, no matter how much you want these parts, you’re going to have to wait. Because they haven’t started building the Bronco just yet.
