Grenadier deliveries to start in November in the U.S.
Off-roader has seen the most pre-orders coming from North America
Ineos has just built the first copies of the Grenadier off-roader for North America. The company has more than 7,000 orders over here, and deliveries are expected to start in the U.S. in November.
The Ineos Grenadier, an off-roader inspired by the hole in the market left by the original Land Rover Defender, has been very popular since it was announced. Orders opened a few months ago, and so far more than 7,000 customers in the U.S. have said they want one.
Now the first one has rolled off of the production line in France. The first U.S.-bound Grenadier is a Belstaff Fieldmaster edition painted in Scottish White. The model will now wait for a few more of its friends and then get put on a ship headed across the pond.
Ineos North America has yet to announce its first dealers, but expect that soon and for deliveries to start in November. Canadian deliveries are set to start in January of 2024.
“The start of production for North American vehicles is a significant moment for INEOS Automotive, and for Hambach plant in particular,” says Lynn Calder, CEO Ineos Automotive. “We have been ramping up the production rate over the last six months to ensure we can deliver to customers as quickly as possible, while maintaining the world-class quality standards we set for ourselves. With the addition of North America, Hambach is now producing for export to five continents. The Grenadier is truly a car for the world.”
