California-based Fisker Inc. is well on its way to becoming an important player in the automotive industry. Fisker is taking advantage of the opportunities made possible by electrification to create desirable new products and the next one will be the Pear.

The Pear, or Personal Electric Automotive Revolution, will be a digitally connected, compact, five-passenger urban EV that will certainly find favour with numerous buyers for its affordability.

Little more is known about the Pear for the moment other than its base price of $29,900 and that reservations open today. Reservations require a $250 deposit and deliveries are expected to begin in 2024.

“Our customer wants to take a step into the future with us,” CEO Henrik Fisker said. “We are opening up reservations for PEAR following continued demand.”
