The company plans to showcase a production-intent model of the PEAR at the Fisker Lounge Munich from September 4-10, in alignment with the IAA Mobility 2023 event in Munich. Earlier, Fisker unveiled the PEAR on August 3 at its first-ever Product Vision Day, disclosing plans for it to be manufactured in the United States in collaboration with Foxconn at a factory in Ohio.

Designed for versatility, PEAR will offer two battery options that provide an estimated range of either 180 miles or 320 miles, catering to both city commuting and longer trips. In terms of performance, it is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds, with optional rear wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. Additionally, a high-performance variant, the Fisker PEAR Extreme, will be part of the lineup.

The vehicle will feature Fisker Blade, the company’s in-house-designed High-Performance Computer, marking its first deployment in a Fisker vehicle. Engineered for speed, energy efficiency, safety, and cybersecurity, Fisker Blade will offer a fully connected and digital customer experience. The system will serve as the backbone of the vehicle’s 5G/Wi-Fi6 wireless network, making the PEAR a cloud-connected mini data center.

Designed with a compact footprint, the 15-foot-long PEAR will feature seating for five or six, depending on configuration. Inside, the cabin design focuses on durability, eliminating fragile moving parts to make it suitable for car-sharing applications or families requiring abundant storage space. The vehicle will even offer a Lounge Mode, where all seats fold flat to create a large lounge area. An optional 17.1-inch rotating screen can be added for enhanced entertainment in this mode.

Fisker has also emphasized sustainability with the PEAR. The interior will feature recycled and bio-based materials, aligning with the company’s aim to create a carbon-neutral vehicle by 2027. Additional features include a drawer-like front boot, or “froot,” for odor-free storage and a unique Houdini trunk design to facilitate easier loading and unloading in tight parking spots.

Manufacturing and deliveries are anticipated to begin in July 2025, making the PEAR a vehicle to watch in the burgeoning electric vehicle market.
