Ford Launches 60th Anniversary Edition Mustang For 2025

Wimbledon white and red interior a classic look

  • 60th Stang celebration gets special paint and graphics

  • New wheels and grilles complete the V8-only package

When the Ford Mustang made its public debut 60 years ago, it became the hottest-selling car of all time. To celebrate, the Blue Oval is building 1,965 versions of a special Mustang 60th Anniversary package for 2025.

Ford is building the car in Wimbledon White, one of the signature shades of the original show cars. It will also be offered in Race Red and Vapor Blue, two much more modern hues. The red and blue cars get silver mirror caps, another nod to the original chrome, while white cars get body colour mirrors.

All of the Anniversary cars get a 60-year side graphics pack inspired by the original cars. They’re Vermillion Red like the O.G. but can also be had in silver.

Other cosmetic changes include 20-inch five-spoke wheels with machined center caps. New mesh inserts for the front grilles are also meant to remind you of the original. The silver nostrils surround the engine air intakes.

The cabin can be had in Space Grey or Black Onyx, but the deep Carmine Red is the one to have. Especially if you pick the Wimbledon White paint, which, frankly, is the only one to go for. Each cabin gets a serialized special edition badge, and there are 60-year badges on the exterior of the car.

Every 60th Anniversary Mustang will be a GT Premium trim car, complete with a 5.0L V8. However, Ford will sell the car in coupe or convertible form, and both automatic and manual transmissions will be offered.

Orders for the 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary will open this summer. The cars should arrive at dealers in Q4, and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
