Ford Maverick Pickup Rendering Takes Cues From Bronco Sport

If this is what Ford's new affordable pickup looks like, we are all in

Ford appears to be planning a new small pickup that will likely go by the name Maverick. This rendering shows what the Ford Maverick could look like if Ford used the recent Ford Bronco Sport as inspiration.

The rendering by Brazil Automotive is very well done, something that isn’t usually the case when it comes to pickup renderings.

Ford is cooking a Fiat Toro's rival. The new Ford's pickup will be named Maverick. Most probably Bronco Maverick because it will be related to the all-new Bronco Sport. # This renders exclusively made by Brazil Automotive shows how the new Bronco Maverick can be. While Toro looks sportive and futuristic, the Maverick will look rugged and retro. # The tailgate leaked on the internet recently, showing the name Maverick and the looks. # We have hope that the all-new Bronco Maverick will be sold in Brazil. Ford needs a new truck here and Fiat Toro is alone in its segment. # If you want to reproduce this render on your website or Instagram, send us a DM. # #Ford #FordBronco #FordBroncoSport #BroncoSport #SUV #Escape #FordEscape #EcoBoost #SUV #4X4 #Offroad #Rugged #Compass #JeepCompass #CompassTrailhawk #Trailhawk #Badlands #SYNC #BlueOval #Render #CarRender #Maverick #FordMaverick #BroncoMaverick #FordBroncoMaverick #Fiat #FiatToro #Toro

The design uses the recently leaked Maverick tailgate and a Ford Bronco Sport front end to create a small pickup that would slot beneath the Ford Ranger or replace it outright. It may also not come to North America at all, leaving our truck lineup the way it is.

The demand for small trucks has picked up in recent years after GM brought back the Chevy Colorado and the GMC Canyon. Toyota then redesigned the Tacoma and Ford brought back the Ranger.

Is there a market for something smaller? You never know until you try. In the meantime, Ford is expected to release a pickup version of the Bronco to compete with the Jeep Gladiator.

We’ll surely learn more about the Ford Maverick soon enough as it is expected next year.
