Ford Mustang-Inspired SUV Teased In Videos

In a newly launched video series called “EV Myths Busted” Ford teased their new Mustang-Inspired electric SUV.

Ford was not satisfied with the results of a recent electric vehicles survey, so they took the matter into their own hands. The American manufacturer says that there’s still misconceptions EVs and they sure don’t help people making the switch. Ford’s trying to fight that.

The myths stated in Ford’s release all come from an independent global survey made across Europe, China, and the U.S. Things like “more than 90 percent of Americans and Europeans don’t believe quick acceleration is a great benefit of electric vehicles”, “forty-two percent of Americans think electric vehicles still require gas to run” and “close to 80 percent of Americans would not pick an electric vehicle for extreme weather” are all myths Ford is trying to put to rest.

And how are trying to do that? With the help of a video series called “EV Myths Busted”. They released the first three episodes today and two of them stars the upcoming Ford Mustang-Inspired electric SUV.

This series is specifically aimed at “educating customers as they prepare for life away from the fuel pumps.”

The Mustang-Inspired SUV, which will be the first vehicle in Ford’s all-new division dubbed Ford Icons, is supposed to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.  This division was announced late last month during the Woodward Dream Cruise, will bring together the most iconic models of the American brand.
