The new Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUV will go on sale on November 17 right after Ford unveils it in Los Angeles at 6:00 PM PST. You can watch the full Mustang Mach-E reveal here.
Expected to have 480 kilometres of range, the Ford Mustang Mach-E will be Ford’s second all-electric vehicle after the Ford Focus EV. The Mach-E, however, is expected to put the emphasis on performance as well as efficiency.
It’s an interesting blend of a lot of things and we’re curious to see what the final result will be. The Mustang name, an SUV body, and an electric powertrain isn’t something you see everyday to say the least.
Few other details about the Mach-E have filtered through. From spy shots, we can assume it’s between the Ford Edge and Ford Escape in terms of size, but that’s about all we know.
Ford’s move of attaching the Mustang name to not only an electric vehicle, but an electric SUV is ambitious and bold. We’ll be in L.A. to cover the unveiling and see the end result.
