Ford’s two-tone treatment is available on selected 2027 F-150 XLT and Lariat models.
Three accent colours can be paired with 10 factory exterior paint choices.
Canadian pricing and availability for the package have not been confirmed.
We typically avoid reporting on colour palettes afforded to new models, due to usually limited interest. But this story is far too good and nostalgia-inducing to pass up.
Ford is bringing back a very familiar colour treatment to the F-150 for 2027, though the retro look comes with a large five-figure price and several configuration restrictions.

The Custom Two-Tone Package adds a contrasting painted section between the truck’s lower body and beltline. The treatment continues around the body, giving the current F-150 an appearance inspired by Ford pickups sold during the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s.
Three accent colours will initially be available: Oxford White, Carbonized Gray and Agate Black. Buyers can combine those accents with 10 standard F-150 exterior colours. Ford may introduce additional choices later, but it has not confirmed any further combinations.
The package is offered through Ford Custom Garage, the brand’s program for dealer-delivered accessories and limited-production customization. Unlike an aftermarket vinyl wrap, the contrasting section uses genuine paint formulated to match Ford’s factory colours.
Availability is limited to 2027 F-150 XLT and Lariat models equipped with the four-door SuperCrew cab, 5.5-foot cargo box and 145-inch wheelbase. Regular Cab, SuperCab and longer-box versions cannot be ordered with the treatment.
Customers must select the package when placing the original vehicle order. Ford

will process the truck through a factory ship-through arrangement, meaning the option cannot be added through the program after a vehicle has already been retailed.
In the United States, the Custom Two-Tone Package carries a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$12,545 (CDN$17,850). This is a significant premium over a single-colour truck and approaches one-fifth of the base price of some Lariat SuperCrew configurations.

The appearance option arrives alongside a mildly updated F-150 range that includes revised styling, wider V8 availability and a new Carhartt Edition.
Ford has not announced Canadian pricing or confirmed whether the Custom Garage option will be offered through Canadian dealerships.
Two-tone treatments were once common across Ford, General Motors and Dodge truck lineups before unfortunately disappearing during the 1990s. Their return gives Ford another customization option, but limited configurations and a substantial price will likely limit the package’s volume. Not a bad thing, to be honest.
