Ford Says No Ranger Raptor For North America

In the land where the pickup truck is King, it just about makes no sense that Ford would decide not to bring one of its hottest truck products to market.

According to Ford, the biggest issue is pricing. More specifically, adjusting the Ranger Raptor to meet U.S. requirement would be too costly, thus inflating the pickup’s price. It would seem that the suggested retail price would rise dangerously close to that of the current F-150 Raptor.

While we understand this point, we also know that enthusiasts and truck-lovers alike would be more than willing to pony up the money to get this exclusive and special piece of truck lore.

The current F-150 Raptor retails for just over $70,000 cdn. We get that a $60,000 Ranger might put a cap on sales volumes but that’s not a bad thing either.

We’re going to guess that Ford will sit back and watch new Ranger sales and then decide to offer it.
