Ford has officially announced its latest electric vehicle offering, the Mustang Mach-E Rally. This SUV is a rally-tuned variation of Ford’s Mustang Mach-E series. Unlike its competitors, the Mach-E Rally is specifically designed for those seeking both speed and off-road capabilities.
The Mach-E Rally is powered by a 91kWh battery, targeting an estimated range of 250 miles. Interestingly, it slightly outpaces the Mustang Mach-E GT in acceleration, reaching 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds. Charging is also optimized for speed; Ford claims a 10-80 percent charge can be achieved in 36.5 minutes using a DC fast charger.
In terms of design, the Mach-E Rally stands out with its striking appearance. It features 19-inch gloss white alloy wheels, rally-inspired fog lights, a distinctive rear spoiler reminiscent of the Ford Focus RS, and unique racing stripes. For those keen on color choices, options include Grabber Blue, Shadow Black, Eruption Green, and Grabber Yellow, with Star White and Glacier Gray available for an added fee.
Performance-wise, the Mach-E Rally is built to impress. It shares its powertrain with the Mustang Mach-E GT, boasting an output of at least 480 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle’s suspension has been raised by 20 millimeters, and it’s equipped with advanced springs, shocks, brake rotors, and protective shielding for both front and rear motors.
