General Motors at the 2024 Canadian International AutoShow

GM’s Portfolio is Loaded with Something for Everyone from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac


The 2024 edition of the Canadian International AutoShow marks a return to pre-covid normalcy, or nearly. General Motors has taken this opportunity to showcase a huge an array of vehicles from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac, from SUVs to high-performance cars, without forgetting EVs.

This year, the show floor will be brimming with electric vehicles, one of which will be the Cadillac LYRIQ, one of nine EVs showcased by Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac at the Auto Show.

 


A First-Hand Experience with the GMC HUMMER EV SUV

For the first time, attendees will have the unique opportunity to step inside the GMC HUMMER EV SUV. This electric behemoth will not only be on display but will also be available for attendees to take for a spin around the indoor EV test track, along with the Cadillac Lyriq, offering a firsthand look at its capabilities. Also on hand will be the Canadian debut of the GMC HUMMER EV Omega Edition SUV.

 


GMC and 25 Years of Denali

 

Denali is a name synonymous with luxury and refinement within the GMC lineup, and has been for 25 years now. These premium models are distinguished by their high-test features, advanced technology, and sophisticated design elements, both inside and out.

The Denali trim level is available across the entire GMC portfolio, encompassing SUVs like the Yukon Denali, trucks such as the Sierra Denali, and other models in the lineup. These vehicles are equipped with exclusive interiors featuring high-quality materials, advanced safety and connectivity technologies, and distinctive styling cues that set them apart from their counterparts. Exterior enhancements typically include unique grilles, chrome accents, and larger, more stylish wheels, contributing to a more commanding and upscale presence on the road.

 


Cadillac’s Growing Collection of Highly Desirable Models

 

Cadillac is a brand that continues to impress with numerous new models that span a large variety of interest. While the LYRIQ will also be doing laps of the EV test track, on the show floor, it will be featured alongside the debut of the all-electric Cadillac ESCALADE IQ and the global unveiling of the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.

Long-Wheelbase Cadillac Escalade IQ Confirmed

The CT5-V Blackwing is arguably the most significant ultra-high-performance Caddy ever not only for its output figures but for catering to true driving enthusiasts thanks to its rare and available 6-speed manual transmission. Cadillac’s V-Series is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and by all accounts, there will be many more birthday parties.

Chevrolet’s Diverse, Electrified, and Rugged Offerings

 

Chevrolet has also been very busy over the last year with the debuts of the all-new 2025 Equinox and the 2024 Traverse RS. The brand’s electric vehicle lineup, including the Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Silverado EV, and the Corvette E-Ray, showcases Chevrolet’s forward-thinking and wide-ranging approach to electrification.

Petrolheads, of the truck-type, will be delighted by the ZR2 Overlanding Zone. It will feature rugged models equipped with overlanding accessories, in partnership with OverlandNTH. Onhand will be the Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison, Colorado ZR2 and Silverado 2500 ZR2 Bison.

 

Furthermore, Toronto FC legend Dwayne De Rosario will be present to celebrate Chevrolet’s new partnership with Major League Soccer and Toronto FC, offering fans a chance to meet one of soccer’s greats.

 


Buick’s Latest Premium SUVs and Interior Technologies

 

Buick will present the Encore GX and the all-new Envista, both of which feature the brand’s new design language, both inspired by the stunning Wildcat EV concept. The luxury brand will also offer a glimpse into its future with its ultra-wide infotainment screens, setting a new standard for in-car technology and connectivity.

As GM Canada leads in sales and market share, the auto-giant will take full advantage of this  year’s 2024 Canadian International AutoShow to showcase its increasingly updated collection of vehicles.
