Look closely at the upcoming Cadillac EV
Details about inside and out for luxury crossover
General Motors designers love their Instagram account. It’s where they get to showcase concepts, sketches, and renderings that might never have seen the light of day otherwise. The latest, though, is a look at some of the details of the upcoming Cadillac Lyriq electric crossover.
The new photos show some very interesting angles of the new Cadillac. The view from the nose shows a production car that looks very much like the Lyriq concept car that was first seen last year, including that car’s light-lined fascia and upright LED accent lights.

Lyriq boasts loads of fine detailing, sharp lines, and interesting ways to break up the body panel lines. Step back and the grille itself is a larger representation of the Cadillac crest. At the back, the detailing isn’t as thorough, but the Lyriq still has some interesting lighting.
Inside is the massive infotainment screen, stretching across the dash like the one in the Escalade SUV. Everything in the interior looks suitably upscale for this luxury electric, though the overall design still fits into the current Cadillac language.
Production of the Lyriq is expected to start early next year, with a 100 kWh Ultium battery pack and range around 500 km.
