Genesis G70 Appears To Get Brand’s New Design Language In Leaked Image

Facelifted G70 will follow in the footsteps of the recent G80, G90, and GV80

  • Genesis G70 would be last model to receive updated design

  • Next G70 expected next year as a 2022 model

The next Genesis G70 appears to have been spied and leaked online, and from what the images show the upcoming facelift will bring Genesis’ updated design language to the compact luxury sedan.

The images published on Autospy show the new Genesis diamond-shaped front grille as well as dual stacked LED headlights. Around the back, the dual light theme continues with rear stacked taillights, an integrated spoiler, and large oval tailpipes.

We can’t know for sure if the next Genesis G70 will include these elements, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if it did. The redesigned G80 sedan and the new Genesis GV80 SUV have been very well received by the public. It would only be normal for Genesis to continue with a winning design for its important entry-level model.

We’re not sure when the updated Genesis G70 will arrive on the market, but reports state it will be next year as a 2022 model. Nothing has been announced as of yet by Genesis, so stay tuned.
