Genesis GV70 Customer Pre-Orders Open Tomorrow

Genesis sales are blooming and the addition of the new GV70 SUV should only heighten delivery numbers

  • The GV70 slots below the GV80.

  • It arrives later this year.

  • Genesis Canada sales are up nearly 115% compared to this time last year.

Genesis is on nothing less than a remarkable run. In only four years, they’ve gone from relative obscurity with only one model to now being on the cusp of offering its fifth and potentially most important model. The Genesis GV70 will be available for pre-order as of tomorrow, March 5th.

The influx of new products is key to this increase in sales. Compared to the same period last year, Genesis Canada has seen a 114.7% spike in deliveries. Critically, the fact that these new products are highly appreciated by buyers and the media alike is certainly helping. The new GV70 will undoubtedly fan the flames.

Only yesterday, the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada announced its three finalists for each of the 2021 Canadian Car of the Year awards. Both the G80 sedan and GV80 SUV are finalists – an impressive result.

“It’s a remarkable accomplishment for a brand to double sales, especially during a pandemic. These results further exemplify the strength of our brand and we are pleased to welcome more Canadians into the Genesis family,” said Richard Trevisan, Brand Director of Genesis Motors Canada. “We will continue to build on this momentum as we prepare for the launch of the redesigned G70 and all-new compact SUV, GV70. This is only the start to what I am sure will be an exceptional year for the Genesis brand.”
