Genesis GV70 Starts From $49,000 in Canada

Expect the crossover on the road soon

  • First compact crossover for new luxury brand

  • Genesis offers all-inclusive pricing with at-home services

Genesis has just announced Canadian pricing for the 2022 GV70 crossover, the brand’s first entry into the luxury compact crossover segment. The 2022 model will come with the brand’s five-year complimentary maintenance and at-home services, starting from $49,000.

Two powertrains will be offered for the 2022 Genesis GV70, a 2.5L turbo-four making 300 hp and a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 with 375 hp. Both have an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Genesis offers all-inclusive pricing, meaning that freight and most other fees are already in the price, and the vehicles come with complimentary maintenance, at-home valet service, complimentary loaner vehicles, navigation updates, and Genesis connected services.

2.5T GV70 models start from $49,000 for Select, $55,000 for Advanced, $59,000 for Advanced Plus and $63,000 for Prestige. The 3.5T models come in Sport and Sport Plus for $68,500 and $75,500 respectively.

“The first-ever Genesis GV70 presents customers with a bold and dynamic crossover offering,” said Mark Del Rosso, President & CEO of Genesis Motor North America. “With its distinct exterior design, powerful stance and refined performance, GV70 perfectly blends athleticism and refined driving performance with the versatility of an SUV that only Genesis can offer.”

Genesis did not say when exactly the 2022 GV70 would arrive in Canada, but we expect it in the second half of this year.
