Genesis Prices Electrified G80 From $105k in Canada

Electric luxury sedan gets luxury price tag

  • Electric G80 offers 454 km range

  • Genesis offers all-inclusive pricing

Genesis Canada has just set pricing for its electrified G80 big sedan. The car will come in just one trim level, badged Prestige and it will get a prestige-level price. $105,000 including destination.

The 2023 Electrified G80 is just that, a Genesis G80 with the engine thrown in the bin and a pair of electric motors installed in their place. Total output for the two motors is 365 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, enough to propel this EV with plenty of authority.

An 87.2 kWh battery gives the Electrified G80 an estimated EV range of 454 km. The pack can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 22 minutes when using a 350 kW DC fast charger.

With just one trim level, Genesis has included nearly everything. The model will have a heat pump, electronic suspension, Lexicon audio, 12.3-inch digital cluster, and 14.5-inch nav screen. A full suite of advanced driver aids are included, with Genesis Highway Driving Assist standard.

Heated and cooled front seats with Nappa leather, microfibre headliner, Ergo Motion relaxation seats, and a power-adjust wheel are also standard.

Because it’s a Genesis, at-home product demonstrations are part of the package, as are five years of scheduled maintenance, valet service pickup and drop-off, and a courtesy vehicle when service is needed. The only extra is $1,700 for buyers who want a matte paint shade.
