Genesis Will Launch Electrified GV70 at this year’s Goodwood FOS

Genesis is a newborn among automakers, but it’s already got three EVs including the upcoming GV70

  • It will be featured alongside the stunning X Speedium Coupe concept.

  • This will be Genesis’ second trip to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed has always been a place to gather for auto enthusiasts and over the last decade or so, has also turned into a venue for automakers to show off new products. Genesis embraced the event as it became an official partner last year. This year, they will use their presence for the European launch of the all-electric GV70.

Last November, the electric Genesis GV70 was first revealed at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China. It will be powered by a pair of electric motors for a total output of 482 horsepower and is expected to deliver roughly 400 km of range.

Dominique Boesch, Managing Director for Genesis Motor Europe, said: ’We are very excited to be revealing both Electrified GV70 and the X Speedium Coupe Concept for the first time in Europe. Both cars represent our firm commitment to establish ourselves as a completely zero emissions brand by 2030, and we can’t wait to share them and the wider Genesis family with visitors to the highly prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
