Hennessey Tweaks Ford Bronco’s EcoBoost V6 to 400 Horsepower

The all-new Ford Bronco gets a boost in off-road capabilities and power thanks to Hennessey


  • The turbocharged 2.7-litre V6’s torque figure jumps to 503 lb.-ft.

  • Only 200 units will be built in the first year.

  • The name says it all: Hennessey VelociRaptor 400 Bronco.


The first examples of the all-new hotly-anticipated Ford Bronco are trickling into showrooms now. If there is something truck owners love to do is to customize. And one of the best places to take your Ford vehicle for some serious upgrades is Hennessey.

For a total of about $80,000, including the purchase price of a new Bronco Wildtrak, Hennessey will bless it with some impressive upgrades. The turbocharged EcoBoost 2.7-litre V6 is recalibrated and fitted with tuned intake and exhaust systems. The result is an extra 75 horsepower and 88 lb.-ft. of torque for a total of 405 and 503 respectively.

Also available is Hennessey’s Off-Road Package which features 35-inch off-road tires on 18-inch Hennessey wheels; front and rear VelociRaptor bumpers; retractable side steps; and VelociRaptor branding. Buyers will even be provided with a 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty.
